SE.BULAN DESIGN is an architect-led design and build company founded by Amalina Azizan in 2017. Her establishments with SE.BULAN DESIGN began with part-time services to family and close friends, eventually securing the first official project in 2019. Her inaugural significant project was Rumah Kenanga, where she had the honor of designing her parents’ retirement home — an 8000 sqft tropical villa in Rawang. This project has been the first rung on the ladder for SE.BULAN DESIGN to explore further opportunities in residential projects.
Alongside a team of designers and contractors, SE.BULAN DESIGN primarily offers design and construction services, complemented by expertise in accessibility and universal design consultancy. Our past projects includes diverse projects such as residential and institutional buildings amongst which include Seksyen 14 PJ, Petaling Street shophouse, and MyAgeing Living Lab UPM.

Trained as an architect for 6 years, Amalina Azizan took great courage to establish SE BULAN DESIGN, envisioned to offer approachable and reliable design services directly to clients.
Her active involvement as an access auditor and universal design consultant contributes to advocating better accessibility for all.
She was recognized by Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for her outstanding work on the Urban Polytechnic of Petaling Street [+] in 2016. The initiative aimed to improve vocational programs in Petaling Street by aligning them with city development, highlighting youth as vital agents of regeneration.

Previously, Azizan Abd Aziz served as the Technical Director of a leading company in Construction and Facilities Management, specializing in educational buildings.
With a technical background in Mechanical Engineering and Facilities Management spanning 30 years, he has acquired extensive experience to professionally handle and provide consultation on construction and facilities management.
